There's no more Sunday School... classrooms! All of the old classroom walls have been taken down and we're getting ready to paint!

The work crew from North Carolina left on Thursday. What an encouragement and a help they were to us!

Sanctuary Renovation

While the annex building is being insulated, workers from North Carolina have come up to help remove the Sunday School classrooms in our church building.

Walls Going Up & Walls Coming Down

Insulators and Sheet Rockers worked in the new annex building this week. All of the insulation is completed, and the sheet rockers are making great progress. Meanwhile, in the church building, a work crew from North Carolina came and worked on removing the old Sunday School classroom walls.

Sprinkler System

Dry wall arrived today and workers were busy moving it inside and starting to put it on the walls.

Third Floor Dedication

Wednesday was a busy day at the work site. The framing was completed and workers began filling the holes in the floor, vacuuming out the walls, and cleaning up. The third floor was dedicated after church on Wednesday night. Praise the Lord for all that He has done!

2nd Floor Dedication!

Tonight, church folks went over to the new building to dedicate the (completely framed) second floor!

The second floor is really starting to take shape. Classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and closets have all been framed. Workers are finishing up on the second floor by filling in holes, vacuuming out the walls, and cleaning up. The dedication of the second floor this Sunday! Praise the Lord for all He has done!

Work headed upstairs to the second floor today. Pastor Townsley joined the workers in framing for new classrooms, bathrooms, and hallways. The school is really starting to take shape.

As soon as the floor on the first story was finished, workers began framing the new office for the secretary and the new bathrooms.

Tuesday, workers from Victory Baptist Church in Londonderry, NH came and helped remove the old stairwell in the new building. They also began laying the new floor trusses on the first story.

Wednesday, workers from Westbrook Baptist Church in Westbrook, ME came and finished most of the new floor on the first story.

Back to Work!

Hammers were swinging as the workers headed back to renovate the Educational Annex/Sanford Christian Academy school building. Most of the demolition had been completed last summer, except for the ceiling on the first floor. First thing, we headed back to work on that. We finished the ceiling project in less than two days and are Praising the Lord for allowing us to continue working on this building for His glory!
